Q. Where are you located?
A. We are centrally located in downtown Santa Monica. Our address is 427 Wilshire Blvd; we are two blocks east of the 3rd street promenade and all of its shopping and restaurants.

Q. Do you have parking?
A. Yes, we have a free secure parking lot behind our building.

Q. How do I get there?
A. If you are traveling south along PCH: You will take a left turn on California incline. Take a right on Ocean Blvd, turn left on Wilshire Blvd., turn left on 5th Street. We are the first driveway on the left. Pull up to the iron gate and press the call box to be buzzed into our parking lot.

If you are traveling north or south on the 405: Exit 10 West. Follow that to 5th street and continue on 5th Street past Wilshire. Once you cross Wilshire we are the first driveway on the left. Pull up the iron gate and press the call box to be buzzed into our parking lot.

If you are traveling west: Take Wilshire to 5th street, turn right onto 5th street. We are the first driveway on the left. Pull up the Iron Gate and press the call box to be buzzed into our parking lot.

Q. Do I have to be an athlete to come to your clinic?
A. No, although we have 31 years of experience treating athletes. We treat a variety of injuries including but not limited to motor vehicle accidents, sports related injuries, pre and post surgical procedures, spinal injuries.

Q. How long should I expect a visit to last?
A. Your first visit will be one and one half hours. It will involve an initial evaluation followed by an hour of physical therapy treatment. Your physical therapy treatment could include any of the following: modalities (ultrasound, electrical stimulation, neuroprobe), instruction in stretching exercises, instruction in strengthening exercises, instruction in proper body mechanics and icing techniques.

Q. How should I dress?
A. Please dress in comfortable workout clothing such as t-shirt (tank top if you are coming in for treatment to your shoulder) and shorts or sweat pants and athletic shoes.

Q. What are your charges?
A. Our fees are based on usual and customary fees charged for our area. You will find our fees to be competitive and our service to be exemplary and well above the standard.

Q. What forms of payment do you accept?
A. Assignment of insurance benefits and for deductible and co-pays, for your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, checks and cash.

Q. Do I need a doctor’s prescription or written order to receive physical therapy treatment?
A. In order to be treated we need a diagnosis. This can be obtained from a prescription through a doctor, a report from an x-ray, MRI or other diagnostic test or an insurance explanation of benefits from your doctors’ office pertaining to the treatment you’re requesting.

Q. Do you accept insurance?
A. We accept all forms of insurance but are not contracted providers of any particular insurance companies EXCEPT Blue Cross PPO.
